It was the day that everything changed, the day that everything we knew and loved ceased to exist.
The day that began the gas crisis.
Everyone was sure this was the thing that was going to skyrocket them back to the earlier days of civilization.
Until an old man found their salvation.
It instantly flew him, his family and the twelve other men who had been working on this 'sceince project' into fame and fortune. This really began the craze for money.
Certain people had more than enough money to support a city.
Others had barely enough to feed their children.

It is now the year 2843, and the world keeps sinking deeper and deeper.
The descendants of the original twelve scientists have soaked themselves in glory and riches, using their money and bloodlines to bend and make their own laws.
Living in a small state they call their own, these Masters and Mistresses do not know is with each passing day their bank accounts dry up a little.
It starts off slowly and not many detect it, but will these Masters and Mistress' still have enough money to support themselves in the next year, two years, five years, ten?
