You can take the kid out of the fight
Hooves thundered against the dried out river bank, dirt flying in their wake. The Autumn sun was shining through the clouds, warming the dried up river bend. Kris is leaned close to Just Another Star's neck, as the Thouroughbred Mustang cross races down what used to be a river bank. The horses mane and Kris's hair were mixed together as it whipped behind both of their shoulders. The horses pace slowed, and she eventually stopped, shaking her mane. Kris leaned back, away from the thick hair, and shook out her own mess of hair. She rode bareback, and slid back towards the horses rump as she ran her fingers through her hair. Her face was flushed from the wind whipping at her face, but her tan skin hid it well. Her bare feet were tight against the mares sides as she tied her hair back, and patted Star's neck, whispering to her as they both caught their breath. Sit back and relax, sit back and relapse
