It is essential that you read these. I know its boring - its boring enough to have to read these let alone make them.
OOC (out of character):
-Follow the rules. Simple.
-As much as we all like to swear, it offends other people so keep it minimal.
-There is no age restriction but don't complain about mature content if you can't handle it.
-Keep it clean. No cussing out other members or abusing staff.
-Be civil.
-Report all misgivings to the admin.
IC (in character):
-I'm not encouraging you to go all out with mature content but it is allowed. Just be sure to warn other members with an +18 in the title of your thread.
-Keep your swearing under control.
-Different characters go on different accounts. Bob is on Account 1. Harry is on Account 2. Got it?
-Your characters first name and surname should be your displayed name. Like so: Harry Scoffield will be the name everyone can see. If you do not know how to do this, follow these directions: Profile (in your menu), Modify Profile, *Display Name.
-Horses and house pets are posted under the owners account. Bob's cat will be posted by Bob. Harry's horse will be posted by Harry.
-No godmoding. You can't break someone else's arm, you give them a chance to respond. I know it sounds simple but it is really easy to go along with. This is how not to do it: Bob broke Harry's arm by twisting his arm around his back. And this is how you do it properly: Bob attempted to break Harry's arm by twisting it around his back.
-There's a minimum of 100 words to a post.
-To avoid confusion third person is required. So instead of using "I" and "me" as referrals in your post, use "she" and "his".
-No anime may be used to represent your characters. Real people in real photos.
Punishments:
-Breaking the rules or receiving a complaint will warrant for a warning.
-Violating rules or receiving a complaint for the second time will get you your second warning.
-You third and final violation with end in your IP being banned.
These rules are easy enough. The basic instructions and guidelines are simple so that everyone, of all ages, may understand them.
