At the beginning of the 20th Century, a man called Count Brixbane, arrived in Louisville with a group of men who were dressed almost as highway men. The group of men were called the Guardians. They never left the count alone, and when the Count bought the Sacred Heart Covent from the Ursuline nuns, he turned it into a school which was to teach many of the students that weren't accepted anywhere else.
Though no one truly knew who were these children, they saw them around the town. Always dressed in suits and ties, for the boys, and the girls wearing long skirt dresses which covered their body completely. The children from the Sacred Heart Academy were polite and extremely well behaved. The Guardians always accompanied into town and were known for keeping the youngesters under surveillance.
Through out the years, the town began growing, and the students from the compound began to be less visible after one of them was killed under mysterious circumstances outside the school. Though many of the strange things that had beenhappening in the town stopped, many townspeople began to think that something strange was going on within the walls of the compound.
Later, The count annexed another building which used to house a university. The compound was completely sealed and only a handful of the students came from Louisville.
No one ever dare to ask why most of the kids from the town had to go almost across town to other schools, until now. The new mayor of the town, has taken a special interest in the school and has forced the Headmaster, to accepts some of the students from the town, despite the Headmaster's refusal.
This fall, the students that were once strangers to those enrolled at Sacred Heart Academy, will finally find out, why it would have been better if they'd stayed away.
