Lily Parker
Full name: Lily Pheonix Parker
Nicknames: Lil, but only by Wyatt
Gender: Female
Age: Twenty-seven
Nationality: American
Hair: Her hair has varied from length to length. Sometimes it can be cut short and just past her chin, while other times it can be long and flowing to the middle of her back. At the moment it's pretty easy to maintain, for it falls just past her shoulders. Her hair is a natural light brunette shade, but she has added blonde highlights in the past two years to give herself a different look. It's naturally wavy, but she does straighten it at times.
Eyes: Her eyes can vary depending on what she's wearing, but normally they appear to be a stormy grey, with flecks of different blues mixed in. Sometimes they look green, and other times they can come off as hazel. It all depends on what she's wearing that day really.
Height: She stands at about five foot six.
Weight: Lily weighs about one hundred and twenty pounds since moving away from Westin. She lost a lot of weight during her depression, and through exercising to make herself healthy once more.
Build: Lily has always been on the thinner side, but she has some muscle to her. In the past years she's been losing some weight because of her illness, but she's been trying to keep herself fit. The young woman has always had a fit body, and that's obvious because of the tasks she can complete. She has an athletic build, but she doesn't have a lot of fat on her.
General likes: Her daughter, Wyatt, horses, Beau, her old life, people who speak their mind, compassion, those who help others, doing her best, doing what her mother believed she could do, honesty, and a life that she can be happy living in.
General dislikes: Not being completely honest with Wyatt, losing her daughter, not being there for her family, running away, that she will never get Wyatt back, that she can't prove herself, arrogance, foolishness, being afraid, being sick, weaknesses, and that her life is not in order.
Personality: Lily has always been a rather defiant young woman that has always done what she wanted to in life. She doesn't take a lot of bull from anyone, and she hates when people try to push her around. The young lady is stubborn and proud, and sometimes that part of her can clash with those around her. She holds her head up high when she's being lashed out at, and when she thinks she's right, then there's no arguing with her. She will prove herself, and her point, and won't stop until she finds one thing that you can be wrong about. She's always been that way, but lately that part of her hasn't surfaced. It's like the fiery spirit she used to possess is buried under the shell of her former self. She's listless and doesn't care, and it's obvious that she misses Wyatt, although she'll never admit it. Lily was always challenging when she was young, and a bit difficult. Head-strong and sure of herself, the young woman seemed unstoppable. But all that has changed, especially after the birth of her daughter Katy. Wyatt was always there for her, but she wasn't the kind to like people caring for her. She has always been self-providing, and rarely enjoys special attention. So whenever she got sick it was never good for anyone involved. That's why no one knows how bad she's feeling now.
Lily has always hidden things about herself that should be known to the public. She doesn't like admitting that she doesn't feel good, or that she's not as tough as she would like everyone to believe. That's the one thing that hasn't really changed since she was young. But everything else has done a complete circle, and that much is obvious to anyone who knows her now. She's insecure about herself, and doesn't understand what other people are feeling any longer. She used to be able to pick up on those emotions immediately, but she's become to naive to the surroundings around her. She isn't completely listless, even though it's a good adjective to think about. It's like she can't live her life any longer because she doesn't have her family. She knows that what she did was a mistake, and she can't take it back, but Lord knows she wishes she could. Her depression affected her and everyone around her, and she believed she was doing the right thing by leaving. She's dedicated though, and will do anything to prove her love for Wyatt and their daughter. She's just a lot quieter than normal, and does her best to keep herself in the background. She's scared to approach the ranch and Wyatt again, but knows it's the only way she can move on with her life. She has to conquer her shyness and her remorse and guilt, and show them that she still cares. The woman has always been caring and compassionate, but it's something that she'd finding difficult to bring forward again.
History: Lily Movado was the only daughter born to Luke and Katy Movado. She was the blue eyed, precious baby girl that the pair had always wished for. But her birth didn't bring the happiness that the two had believed would come. Her parents started having small fights here and there about how Lily should be raised, and how everything should be done. Luke was a private investigator, and his long hours frustrated and bothered his wife, but she knew that he loved his job, and he was moving ahead in the service. Katy was a second grade teacher turned stay at home mom for the time being to care for their daughter, and it worried her. She hated the fact that she wasn't bringing in some income to help support them, and she was just concerned over the entire situation. Despite those early hesitations, Lily grew up in a caring and loving environment.
The young girl blossomed from a young age, and was soon enrolled in sports and school in San Francisco. It was a hard life at first, since she didn't know how she felt about the city and the hustle and bustle, but she soon grew used to it. She made friends throughout elementary school and middle school, and was soon getting ready for high scool. It was an exciting time in her life, but she knew that there was something wrong in her family life. Her mother and father barely said one word to one another, and their tempers were always short. More than one night a week Lily would lay in bed and listen to her parents argue back and forth, yelling and swearing until they turned hoarse. Lily had a feeling something bad was going to happen soon, and when both her mother and father woke her up the next morning, she knew the time had come. She didn't cry, but she wouldn't speak to either of them for the longest time. Lily didn't complain when it was announced she would be going with her mother to Nevada, even though it was obvious she wasn't too happy about the divorce. What bothered her the most was that her father beat it out of there as quickly as he could without a backword glance. The only correspondence she had with Like was the check he sent in the mail every month for child support. So, soon enough, Lily learned what hate really was. And she hated that man.
Life in Nevade was fairly straightforward. She enrolled in high school and met some new people. It was a little difficult for her to adjust at first, but she soon learned how everything worked out. She had always been a rather bright girl, so her studies never posed a problem. English was her favorite, and soon enough she was paired with her first partner for a project. He was the good looking jock that every girl wanted, but he never seemed to settle down. Lily was smitten that first day in English class, and his name was Wyatt Parker. Their friendship grew steadily until he found the nerve to ask her out, and she agreed without any hesitation. Lily was happy for the first time in a long time, and that much was obvious as they started to date. They married out of college, and Lily thought she really had found the perfect life. Until everything was ruined because of her attitude change after Katy's birth. She became depressed and solitary, and was doing her best to change. But she was growing steadily worse, and she couldn't make anyone understand that. So, she did something about it. The only thing she could honestly think of. Lily Parker left that day, with tears in her eyes and without a backward glance. She knew that if she looked back, she wouldn't be able to keep going. But she needed to take care of herself before she could help take care of her family. She knew she didn't handle it in the best way possible, but it was all that she could comprehend at that time.
Lily found work when she moved away, and for two years she became accustomed to the life of substitute teaching, and going to her support group. Her life was slowly turning around, and she was thankful for that. Soon enough, she found herself ready to confront her life again. She was happy and supporting herself, and understood that she could take care of someone else. So now, Lily Parker is back in Westin, Nevada. She's ready to talk to Wyatt and explain, and let him know that her love never faded. She's ready to see her daughter and be the mother that Katy so desperately needs. She's ready to be the loving wife that she never was, and she's ready to be the old Lily Parker all over again. She's ready to live her life the way it was supposed to be lived. Now if only Wyatt would accept her.
Roleplay sample: From Westin:
It had been a long drive, and Lily hadn't gotten lost once. She had remembered every twist and turn, and every sharp left and right that she had had to make to get to Westin. And when she drove in, the townspeople had scrutinized her black Explorer. She had driven out two years ago, and now she was driving it right back in. She wasn't acting like she owned the place because she knew that that was simply not true. She had to make a name for herself once more, and she had to explain to people why she had left, and why she had finally returned. The young woman hated speaking about her feelings, but she knew that the people that had been her friends and her support system deserved to know. But most of all, Wyatt deserved to know. She had tried explaining it to him right before she had left, but it hadn't gone over the way that she had wanted then. She just wished that he would be able to find it in his heart to listen to her.
The young woman had arrived while Wyatt was out, and that was exactly what she had wanted. From far off she had heard Gunner's bark, and Noah responded vocally. The australian shepherd was only a year old, and the long car ride had played a role in his extreme hyperness at the moment. It didn't matter that Lily had stopped time and time again to allow him to stretch his legs. He needed a long run, and Lily knew she'd be able to get it at the ranch. Whenever they got there. If they got there. Noah heard Lily's reprimand to be quiet, and he turned his one blue eye and one honey colored to peer at her in curiousity. He didn't know where they were, but he was ready to meet every new being in this big and spacious place. Lily reached over with one hand and ran her hand over his head, which calmed him down instantly. He gave a short whine and then plopped down into the front seat, his nose sticking out the small opening the window provided. He was inhaling deeply, and Lily couldn't help but smile. She was extremely nervous, and her normally calm stomach was in knots. She didn't know what this meeting was going to bring, but she tried to think positively. It couldn't be that bad right? What was she thinking? Of course it was going to be bad, and she was worried. Worried of rejection. It was true that she hadn't rejected Wyatt, but she certainly hadn't done anything to allow him into her small world. She had put up walls during her depression that not even he could penetrate. Try as she might however, she couldn't stop missing him, and she certainly couldn't stop loving him.
It didn't help that Lily didn't really look the same as she had when she had lived on the ranch. She had never really been that thin of a girl, but she hadn't been overly large either. She was just in between, and she had never really had a problem with. After having Katy though, she had never lost the pregnancy weight, and it had only added onto her sunken spirits. Her hair had been long and unkempt, falling down to the middle of her back, and she hadn't paid any attention to her appearance in those days. But things had changed. Her hair was a little past her shoulders, with blonde highlights mixed in with the natural brunette shade of her hair. Her bright blue eyes held the light within them once more, and the smile actually reached them when she showed it. Also, Lily had lost a lot of weight. It wasn't enough to make her look too thin, but she definitely was a lot thinner than Wyatt or anyone else had ever seen her. It made her slightly self-concious, but it wasn't like she wasn't fit. She had muscle, even if it wasn't huge, and she was healthy. The color had returned to her once pale and ashen face, and she looked good. The jeans she wore clung to her curves in all of the right places, and her familiar boots showed from beneath the small flare. She had on a white button up long sleeved shirt, with the light blue plaid designs throughout it. Beneath that, the navy tanktop showed up easily, and she had rolled the sleeves to the button up back to her elbows, which revealed her tan skin. She honestly looked a lot better than she ever had in years. Lily hoped it wouldn't change anyone's opinion of her though.
Lily had been lost in her thoughts, and she didn't realize she had finally pulled up the bunk house. Her cousin had been notified of her arrival, for she had called him in the past week. She parked the explorer along the back so Wyatt wouldn't really be able to see it yet, and turned the vehicle off. Lily pulled her blonde hair back into a ponytail to keep it out of her face, and she soon had released Noah from the car. Putting a leash on him, she made sure he stayed close and soon entered the bunkhouse after Billy had opened the door for her. He was glad to see her, and she was more than happy to see him. "He's not here yet, is he?" The disappointment and the worry showed through her blue eyes, and Billy shook his head. "He'll get here Lily. Don't worry so much." Lily flashed him a forced smile and then began pacing back and forth. After a while, she couldn't take it any longer. She decided she could get some things from her car, and left Noah inside with Billy and the other hands for entertainment. This was such a bad idea. He was going to hate her, and she wouldn't blame him. Lily pushed the door open, and because she was looking down, had no idea he was right there. She kept walking until she bumped into something, which sent her now small form flying backwards. Catching herself, she stumbled backwards and brought her startled eyes to look forward. As Wyatt came into view, her heart dropped from her chest and her mouth parted slightly. "Wyatt...I'm..I'm sorry." She wasn't sure if it was him that she had run into or not. What a great way to make a first impression.
