i hate the way you lie - love plot

I am proposing a love plot with imperfect characters finding themselves in a complicated love story that has been told time and time again.

Justin is struggling with the brutal murder of his parents and although his sister is trying to get him right, he is slowly getting worse. He is smoking over one pack of cigarettes a day and abusing whiskey and other alcoholic drinks more often at any time of the day. He is deteriorating slowly but then he meets a girl in the bar.

I can't tell you what it really is
I can only tell you what it feels like
And right now it's a steel knife in my windpipe

The two spend the night together. Its wild and passionate and everything you would ever want from someone. Then morning comes and when Justin wakes, he realises what he's done. He can recall their night and does not regret their time. However as the days progress Justin becomes more difficult to be with. He picks fights and his lies are obvious. Suddenly its all uphill when it had been so easy before. Here's their problem: the passion and romance came easily, but the relationship is harder to maintain.[/size]

I am not saying that all of a sudden they realise they love each other and everything is happy again. I am saying that these two connect when they're at breaking point. The relationship is about to break apart when all of a sudden Justin gives in under the pressure. He gives her a piece of himself, recalls his parents death, and suddenly he's fragile. He's not this lying, cynical man that he's put out there for her to see. He's real and he's got a lot of baggage. He needs help and by admitting it they reach a level that they hadn't been on before.



This is the rough sketch of a plot that I have in mind but now I just need someone to take part. Please reply to this thread if you have any ideas or would like to take part.[/center]
